I don't really remember what time I actually woke up and what were the feelings. You know me - I am kind of last minute packer, so Saturday night was a bit off. I had some breakfast (I only remember that I had some hard time eating anything at all) and then the taxi came. I still don't get why Ne-chan (my sister) didn't go to the airport with us. It would've been better if she did, but oh well...

cont.Taxi driver was somewhat fun - driving fast and cheating on red lights. He wasn't riding ON the red lights, simply cheating on them, like he would make it seem like he is doing a right turn and then just with the small round would go back on the road. That was interesting. My uncle called when we were doing one of these cheating rounds, so I said good byes to him as well... I hate saying good byes, because I have no idea what to say on such occasions, especially to people with whom you usually do not have much interaction. So it doesn't really matter whether I am living 10 minutes-walk away or across the world... Anyways with all the cheating and driving we've got to Borispil really fast. My new backpack torn a bit, so mom went around and found some threads to sew it up. I bought ticket for another suitcase, and that's basically it. I don't think much of it. I never had a feeling that I am like really leaving at all and for such “a long time” as everyone seems to think.
Passport control, luggage check-in, body check etc – nothing much to tell about… quite typical I think, so after being done with the procedures I finally got on the plane. Flight was quite fast and nice (except for the cold sandwich that we were offered, but as I was hungry, so I had to bear with it). The girl sitting next to me was also going to Tokyo. So the rest of my trip to Narita I had a company) In Moscow it seemed like there is noone there... seriously... It was so quite at the airport... but finally as that girl and I went to our gate for departure we saw many Japanese. On board the ration was smth like 95% Japanese and then 5% of others. Our sits were right in front (which is nice in many aspects - toilet is near, more space for legs, screen is right there, flight attendants always start to bring food from our sits, so there is very little chance that they run out of smth) Next to me sat some British guy, who was basically sleeping all the time, probably we've annoyed him like hell with all our chats. I didn't pay much attention to other passengers on board, but my neighbor girl did. By the end of the flight she told me all about passenger that sat near us. Like totally drunk guy on the left is a regular customer of Aeroflot so he got a better treatment (I wonder why he traveled economy class in that case, there were some empty seats in business class, but whatever) the guy got completely drunk and slept all the way. On our right sat the Japanese lady with a baby. Baby was really nice and cute and what's more important he/she didn't cry at all (and some Russian kids were being, you know, noisy and annoying XD). We had a nice dinner and a pleasant breakfast and Aeroflot has given everyone a hand cream as a NY present so that was nice. And so after 10 hour flight I was finally reaching my destination point....
