Waking up at 5-30 to be at the station in time for the earliest train to head off to the final destination ^^
jumpMinakami is a nice town up in the mountains, a typical resort area where mostly old people go. However due to many outdoor activities there seem to be more young people compared to other onsen cities. After the walk around the city I finally arrived at Suwagyo bridge. 42 meters above river... I checked in with the bungee jump staff and went to the platform. I understood that one should not stand for too long on the edge cause the longer u stay there the harder it is to make yourself jump. Easy to say! When I was standing on the edge I was scared!.. If a person tells u it is not scary - he/she is either lying or simply crazy... I admit it was scary! like hell scary... they make you stand with your toes hanging over the edge and not holding on to anything with your hands wide spread. and below you there is this really fast flowing river... Scary!!! then there is the countdown..

FLY!
...
and then suddenly nothing really matters... you are flying... well, technically you are falling down and you see how water becomes closer and closer to you and when you think just a bit more and you are gonna dive into it, suddenly you are pulled back and go back up.. you are flipped again and can see the blue sky above you and then once again you getting closer to water, but this time you can not tell whether you are going up or down. feeling are all mixed up and keep swinging a bit longer till finally you end up hanging upside down feeling happy.
the feelings are amazing.. the moment you start to fall you are not afraid anymore. it was really scary and hard to make myself make that first step to actually jump.. but then it was amazing!!! I have never felt anything like this in my life...
well.. now I can cross out one item on my bucket list)
The services there offered to take photos , which I did d not want cause 1) I do not like being photographed; 2) it was pricey.
The photographer turned out to be a Russian girl, so she promised me to send photos via facebook just cause we speak same language)))
afterwards I headed towards Takumi no sato - a small village in the mountains where you can try to do various crafts) and so I did.
I tried to do
1) soba - which takes time and effort, but was fun) I gave the soba I made to IM
2) candles - I made one cute with kurobuta)
3) metal pendant -kuro neko)
4) washi - rice paper, which will arrive within a week. The owner of the shop (old jap oji-san) used to work for Bosch in Reutlingen when he studied in Germany...
5) indigo - I had no time to do any complicated picture on the handkerchief but I did one star)
then I hurried for the last bus and as I was to tired to wit for another bus I decided to use shinkansen)
it was only 110 more expensive then going back to minakami and using a regular local train and in addition I got to takasaki in only 10 minutes or so (otherwise it would have taken me at least two hours)
I was too tired to hang around takasaki so I just went back home to sleep and relax)
Day 153 ~I believe I can fly~
