Saturday turned out to be a day of many extremes...
long day
I woke up at 4 am to get on the first train to go to Tsukiji for tuna auction, but as CM came late and we waited for her friend, the auction was long over by the time we got there...
Anyways we sneaked into wholesale area which is not allowed before 9am. It looked amazing! I have never seen so many kinds of fish in my life, maybe on national geographic XD
Police chase us out of the wholesale area so we went to eat some sushi. Sushi were really good but quite pricy!
After breakfast CM's friend went back home so that CM and I were left alone to wonder around the area some more.
Afterwards Cm went home to sleep after her busy night and my day was just getting busier.
I went to Asakusa as there was annual Sanja matsuri. Well, the most extreme part was that most of the guys were wearing happi and belts.. and that's pretty much it!
oh.. they also had this sumo type thug-panties on.. therefore my eyes were hurting form seeing so many old Japanese asses...
later on SJ and C2 joined me in Asakusa and after some lunch from the food stands we headed to sumo stadium.
Sumo was really fun! I have never expected it to be so interesting.. months of training, 5 minutes of preparation before the match and then a mere seconds and you are out of the rink!
After match we went for the dinner. There somehow NY ended up sitting with me, BM and IM... so three of us started asking him all about his wife, how he proposed, about future plans etc. Therefore pretty soon he escaped and switched places with SY. then we tortured SY a bit) and then Tako-chan (one lady that used to stay in TmP) joined the ladies table.
IM got drunk as usual and I was taking it slow cause I decided to join Germans for the soccer game - Munich Bavaria vs Chelsea.
After the dinner everyone went their own way and the German company plus me went back to C1 place to drop off stuff and pick up one jap guy.
Around midnight we headed out for the bar in Roppongi
