Day 137 ~workshop&nomikai~

when I came to the office some of the CTG3 people were already there and some minutes later SY came as well.
And starting 10 am we had the workshop dedicated to BP13 - "BP13 kick-off "
NY gave a lecture about intercultural differences - Confucius's and Socrates' way of teaching, high and low context... well, I guess people who came in contact with Japanese culture know pretty well, that when u hear "chotto muzukashii" as a reply to a request, you can forget about it, cause Japanese are just to polite to say "no" or "it's impossible"...
we could hardly survive till lunch, cause the schedule topic was awfully boring XD After lunch everyone went back to office and only crazy ua gaijin went for a walk around the factory in the rain with the ice cream. I must say I really enjoyed the walk) C2 and SY were busy chatting, so I did not intrude on their conversation.
the second part of the workshop was more or less ok. jp manager went over ppt slides trying to explain it (key word is trying, cause I doubt he has a clear understating of it).
But the very last part was a challenge - to come up with the open topics. the idea was to find an open issue and then the person who can solve it... of course everyone pointed out topics from their areas and ten minutes later they were appointed as the responsible person to handle the topic... it was like this little show of grade-schoolers... and I got this feeling of "who is on duty today? - I am on duty today?"...
finally the workshop was over... and after all ctg3 left we were going for nomikai. I was sitting across the bboss and next to c2. bboss was paying much attention to c2 and how great he was and how they would appreciate if he stays longer. I knew that I need to find a moment to speak up for myself and so I did. I am not sure if bboss really meant it, but he brought up also SY as an example, that when they see that a person is good they would pull that person to jp to work, which is great, if true... therefore I do need to work harder...
nomikai ended around 9pm... c2 , me and bboss walked to the hotel where bboss was staying, and then the two of us headed home... or not.. it was too early to go home so we went to 7/11 instead) got some beer, went to restroom and headed to the riverside. we talked a lot... C2 told me very private info therefore I am skipping that part, because I do not find appropriate to share it. the interesting part was him asking me about my trip with KY. C2 thinks that Ky likes me and he was expecting smth to happen during the trip. But as u know it was not the case... but I think now I have an ally in the field XD however I am not sure that I want one...
I got home around 11pm and went to bed in a very good mood.
