I could hardly survive through the day... seriously.. it's just too hard for me to get up when I am supposed to. at first I would wake up throughout the night and then of course I am not able to wake up let say at 7am. I do not understand! In ua I was able to stay up till 2 or 3 am and then wake up at 5 or 6 and go to work or uni. Here I am taking it way to easy! And that;s what I need to change.
Work was slow as usual. During the lunch I invited the other new girl -MK to eat together (nobody around for now)
MK is a replacement for one guy who work for bosch as a contractor and found a regular job therefore he quit. MK has studied in US, but she seems much more mature than IM (no idea how old she actually is) She is very nice. She lives in Takasaki and invited me to come so that she can show me around the area) so sweet) So I am planning to go there on the weekend after the Golden week.
BM and IM were also there, so we had some kind of a lady's table)
читать дальше I told about the plans to go to Nikko after the sumo weekend and girls said that they need to think about it...
In the eve C2 and other came back to office, not for long but still. One point was surprising. On Monday I sent C2 an email both work and personal stuff related. He was able to reply only on Tuesday morning, also asking about my weekend and saying that we can talk about work on Wednesday. so when he came back he asked me why I did not reply. well the work related topic could wait and he said that that's not what he was expecting to read about, but instead he was looking forward to hear it all about my weekend. I've been with Japanese too long XD I start forgetting that normal people care about their colleagues a bit more than an average Japanese.
When I got home and was about to head out, somebody ringed my doorbell. On the screen I could see some older guy (not very Japanese looking). I opened the door and the guy asked me in some funny whether I am Russian. "Vy4elovek ruskij?"
Apparently he is Polish, but due to his wife's illness they moved to Japan 8 years ago. It was much easier for him to speak in English so we switched to it. I have no idea how he supports himself but he is one of the Iegova's witnesses.. geez.. they found me even in Japan!!! He gave me a book and said that if I have time he can come whenever it is more convenient for me and he can teach me more about God. I think that when somebody in the family is really sick and medicine is not helping much, al what's left is to turn to religion. I understand that and respect their beliefs, but I do not share it! I do not want to be taught about God from their point of view. Unfortunately I have my own, and I'd like o keep it the way it is.
After 15 minutes talk I went out to do some shopping. In one small shoe store I bought a pair of sports shoes. The lady was letting me try on all the shoes in the store and was so happy that I bought smth in the end. she made a point card of the city stores for me and awarded me with much more points that I have spent XD she also gave me some candies XD I guess she was truly surprised that I can speak Japanese and read as well XD
Then I found a really nice clothing store. Right now I feel so stupid about spending so much money, time and effort in Tokyo for shopping XD but oh well, next time I'll do better.
On the way back I met C2 smoking outside his apartment. Exchanged some quick remarks and went back home.
