Day 44 ~Back to TmP or Home Sweet Home~

Ah-ah… It is somewhat sad to be back, but nice in the same time. I had a very lazy morning. As I was gone for the entire week, all I had for my breakfast was some milk and cookies. I think I really need to go grocery shopping today as all I have left in my fridge – pack of beer, sake, wine and gorilka))) nice combination.
lazy honey beesTmP is still the same as it was one week ago – quite and slow, but somehow it feels comfortable. All bosses are taking days off and some people as well, so it is even emptier than usual. I’ve given out the sweets that I brought from Tokyo and found one from NY from his trip to Hokkaido. I’ve noticed that as BBoss has been away from the office for some time he has like tons of sweets on his table XD.

Today the admin lady came up to me explaining that there is one guy on the 3rd floor, who’ve heard about me going to Japanese class a the study center and now wants to be introduced to me. Well, it’s not that I care much, but I have this “Eh?” feeling as well. Afterall he is probably to be busy, because it’s been hours since he was supposed come down to my floor for the introduction. XD
UPD I have not met the guy... and it's been a month XD

Ah-ah… I am so lazy today… sleepy and lazy… I wonder whether I’ll be able to go supermarket after work… actually I’d rather go later in the night to enjoy time sales, but I wonder whether I would really want to get out of the house once I get all cozy. There two ways to deal with this issue: 1st is to stay later at work, which is not appropriate in any aspect, 2nd – not to change clothes once at home! If I get changed in my pajama, I am sure that supermarket has to do without me XD.

Finally it was 6 pm, and as I was packing and getting ready to go home I found some more sweets that I brought from Tokyo. And that was my mistake! I could’ve just gone home and eaten it myself, but as I am a nice girl I decided to treat Mboss and the boss who is going to Vietnam. The Mboss is really talkative. I thought that I will just drop sweets and leave.. oh no.. I’ve stayed there for 40 minutes listening about German agriculture, bees, honey and some mysterious south American dicease that is a great thread to all honeybees XD he got calls in the middle of storytelling. So he would answer and then get back to me and ask what we were talking about and carry on and on and on… I thought he would never stop!!! My plan to get home earlier was ruined!!!
I got home only after 7 pm, had some tea and went to get some food at supermarket. This time was special as it was my first time buying rice! I bought a large sack of 5 kg and now I wonder whether I will be able to eat it till the end of my stay XD but I think it’s good to have this “НЗ” at home for times like yesterday, when I literally had no food in the house.

From now on it gets interesting... I was keeping my diary up to date... SO most of the entries are written in present time)

most of the entries are very long as I would be writing down whatever comes on my mind, so now I need some time to cut it shorter (at least in half)))

Anyways I will try to keep just some interestinng info leaving out all the crazy stuff)))

I woke up later on, when Bee’s bf had already left for work. Bee and I had breakfast and went to Tokyo together.hmm...

Day 42 ~Attitude~

In the morning we had nice breakfast at IM’s uncle’s and aunt’s place. And the aunt has taken us first to the stone garden. Japanese are really fond of huge stones)))

Day 41 ~Intern's nomikai

By the time I woke up Bee was already gone. I had taken my time to take shower and when I got out THE perfect breakfast set prepared by Bee’s bf was already waiting for me. It was tenderly sweet. At moments like that I can not be happier for Bee!!! He also offered to drive me to the station but I thought it was too much) I rushed for the bus and after an hour or so I was meeting with Mariko in Shinjuku.
ah...Mariko is a friend of my hubby, whom I first met in Kiev. She is a lovely girl with sad stories as well as happy ones. She is a teacher at language school in Tokyo so she is gonna help me with getting copies of all the books for JLPT that I need. We went to Tokyo Metropolitan. The view was really nice from the top.

We wondered around the area and checked out some host clubs signs… seriously those guys are just too girly.. Even on the street I would see better looking guys than those hosts. Actually there were some guys standing outside their clubs and inviting girls in, but whenever they saw me they would go really quite and look the other direction XD I guess I am a scary foreigner XD Mariko has treated me to nice lunch as part of my BD celebration… I wonder how long will I be able to celebrate my BD)))

And then I went to harajuku to meet IM.

We went to Shibuya for nomikai on foot. In shibuya we first went into Shibuya 109 and later on headed for the meeting place with other interns -Hachiko statue.
There were many interns and Japanese.. in total about 25 people. Too crowdy and noisy for my taste. I finally got to chat with CM more, so I didn’t pay much attention to IM. By the end of the eve she was totally wasted! She could hardly stand up on her own. And when we had to leave she could not put her boots on. I had to do so for her… she started some drunken talk and teased me a lot. Well, I had some hard time dealing with my own temper so that I would not cut it all off very rudely… IM wanted to go to karaoke for the entire night, but I insisted on going back as her aunt was staying up waiting for us to come. It turned out that IM had no idea where to go and I had to find our way by myself. My mood was just great!!! Auntie met as at the station. The old couple was chating us up till 3 am, so next morning was hard to wake up at all.

That was the time that IM seriously got on my nerves... I've known so far that she drinks at home after work almost everyday... some Japanese girls who came to nomikai could not believe that IM was actually Japanese,as such behavior is not tolerated... well... the story goes on...

Day 40 ~Evil smirk mode~

Last day was also somewhat challenging. I was sick of Japanese explanations especially as CTG3 people were not making any effort to put it in easier way. But I think I had my victory over them at the end.

Day 39 ~Encounter~

I had breakfast at the hotel and came to office earlier than i was supposed to, even though I was told to rest as much as I wanted. However I thought it was a good idea to come earlier for the review and on my way up to the office I met a girl. читать дальше

Day 38 ~Business trip~

I was really excited about my first business trip as I had no chance to go to other offices before.

CTG3 Following the directions that I got from SY I was able to find Yh (stands fro Yokohama) office without any trouble at all. Well, I guess I need to tell more about SY.)))) I first heard about him from Chris (previous intern). SY also used to be an intern in TmP, but now he is a regular employee. I must say that "SY" stands for a typical Japanese name, cause later on you'll get to know what’s it all about. So I have written to him to introduce myself and we exchanged some curtusy letters. Later on SY topic came up during lunch hour and somehow KY was vrey agitated about the guy. He said that SY is very interesting and talkative and stuff and that I must see for myself. I was taken aback by such reaction, but that was all I could make KY tell me. Later on my boss told me that SY is actually half-german/half-japanese… so that’s what it was all about XD I must say that SY doesn’t look Japanese (except for the hair) and doesn’t really look german (except for the ears), but as it has been proven – kids from mixed marriages are usually goodlooking) and that is precisely the case… SY had graduated from german university and came to work for bosch in japan and apparently he and chris are really good buddies) later on hr intern girl – marie (the one with whom I've been exchanging emails when organizing my trip to japan) said that she thinks that SY is really quite and more like "staring type", whatever that supposed to mean. So her impression was opposite to the one that I’ve heard before… My personal opinion is that he is sociable alright, cause I had no problem finding topics to talk about and I think he can be quite fun in the company of close friends.
The other person that I was supposed to work with was CTG3 boss. Nice guy in his 40s who was really trying to babysit me as much as possible. After work he treated me and SY to ramen and even walked me all the way to the subway station even though he needed to go the opposite direction.
Work itself was not hard but as the explanations were carried out only in Japanese my brains were slowly melting away. However I survived my first day in Yh and enjoyed a quite eve in the hotel. Oh... I did managed to burn my hand with hot water and notice it only later on... i am hopeless in that way(((

~Current~

I am finally done with January, but I am still falling behind...

I am having mood swings all the time... And I do not like it...

I am trying to make decisions here, then I get discouraged, then scared and then I am close to giving up...

No matter how fast I try to run and catch up, I always fall behind...

And once again I've been reminded that I have no wings to be dreaming of flying away...

Day 37 ~January closure~

I woke up early dreaming of a warm shower only to find out that no hot water was running through my pipes… And I had to take freeeeeeezingly cold shower and dry up in front of aircon turned all the way to the max!

but it's gonna be ~~tomorrow~~ tonight, cause I do not have much time till I need to get up for skype date with my sis and getting ready for work and all the ironing I need to do... Ah~a... I need to get some sleep cause today I had some hard time trying not to fall asleep infront of my monitor at work...
